The historic Pah Homestead, located in Monte Cecilia Park and in bad repair, was renovated, conserved and adapted to house the $50m James Wallace Art Collection. The property now provides an exciting new cultural venue for Auckland, while conserving and adapting one of the city’s finest historic houses for a new use.


The Wallace Arts Trust has collected over 5000 New Zealand artworks since its patron James Wallace started collecting in the mid 60s
