As part of a nationwide programme to upgrade 120 Work and Income Services Centres, NZ Strong completed nine interior refurbishments across the Auckland Region. These included MSD Orewa, Clendon, Papakura, Queen Street, Manukau, Manurewa, Mt Eden, and Waitakere, with floor areas ranging from 400 to 800m2.
The fit-outs included new meeting rooms, seminar and interview rooms, and security partition walls, as well as an upgrade and alterations of services, and a full redecoration and replacement of furnishings. Each project was completed within six weeks.
Meticulous planning went into working in a tenanted building to ensure minimal disturbance to MSD’s ongoing operations. This involved dividing the construction into 2-4 stages and working outside of operating hours to minimise disruptions.
