3 NZ Strong project managers and 1 site manager were recognised for their professional excellence in the building and construction process at the 2017 New Zealand Institute of Building (NZIOB) GIB® Awards for Excellence on Friday 25 August at a gala evening at the Pullman Hotel, Auckland.

  • Excellence and Category Winner for Coloursteel Projects $10 – $25 Million awarded to Jimmy Corric, Mason Brothers Building, Wynyard quarter
  • Highly Commended for Resene Projects under $2.5 Million awarded to Russell Smith, Auckland Airport, various projects
  • Highly Commended for Steel Construction Projects $5 – $10 Million awarded to Scott Crowe, ESC Link Bridge, North Shore Hospital, Takapuna
  • Finalist in the Steel Construction Projects $5 – $10 Million category – Terrence Elliot, Textile Centre Seismic Strengthening, Parnell
